Clean Jobs Workforce Network Training Program

 Apply Now for Spring!

This Clean Energy Program is seeking to create a qualified, diverse pipeline of workers prepared for careers in clean energy by providing FREE training in clean energy pathways, barrier reduction services, and employment readiness.
 
In partnership with Joliet Junior College, GovState’s School of Extended Learning is providing pre-courses to introduce you to clean energy jobs and prepare you for further training in the following careers.

Training Pathways Include:

  • Electrical Vehicle Technician
  • Residential Energy Auditor
  • EV Charging Station Installation

The Clean Jobs Workforce program is aimed at individuals 18+ prioritizing those living in R3 or Environmental Justice Communities - areas impacted by pollution, economic hardship, or underinvestment Displaced energy workers, foster care members/graduates, and individuals facing other employment barriers may also be eligible.

This CEJA Workforce Hubs Program is funded by the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity (DCEO) through the Climate and Equitable Jobs Act (CEJA).
